For the 2019 Calendar I made a collection of birds in a variety of techniques: Drawing, pen and ink illustrations and collage.
These collages were inspired by images that I found in my grandmother’s knitting- and sewing brochures. There are 12 illustrations, used as calendar girls in my 2018 Calendar.
Redesign of logo and new businesscards for the flowershop Blomsterhjørnet.
Print made from original collage.
Commissioned work where I was asked to print some of my illustrations onto textiles and made into finished products as cushions and totebags.
This is my contribution to The Sketchbook Project, an international ongoing project where you are invited to make a sketchbook:
“Located in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn Art Library is home to over 41,000 sketchbooks from over 130 different countries. Participants of the project order blank sketchbooks, choose a theme, fill them up and connect their books online with search terms, an artist bio and other unique content. Every single sketchbook that is sent back to us is cataloged and placed on our shelves for visitors to view.”
The theme for my sketchbook was “A path through the trees”. You can view it in their online catalogue here, and have a look at other contributions as well.
Commissioned drawing printed as postcards.
